Uber is looking for a Manager of Business Development, focused on Strategic Initiatives, to join our EMEA Business Development team. Successful candidates will bring a dynamic combination of IQ and EQ, an ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and strong interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations. Someone who brings hustle in spades and isn’t afraid to manage multiple deals in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment. Essentially, a business athlete with ambition and drive, capable of building partnerships to support a variety of high-priority, strategic Uber initiatives.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead end-to-end deal processes: strategy, sourcing, analysis, negotiation, and implementation.
  • Negotiate partnerships that help Uber achieve our core priorities in our most strategic European markets
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to craft and execute high impact, needle-moving deals
  • Juggle multiple high-priority deals that need to be executed on tight timelines 

What You’ll Need

 

  • 5+ years of Business Development experience, 7+ years of total experience
  • 2+ years experience cultivating, negotiating, and growing business partnerships
  • Excellent judgment, positive attitude, hustle, demonstrated history of success
  • Strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build trust and negotiate hard with partners, and adeptly manage the cross-functional coordination (local operations, public affairs, finance, legal) required to implement deals
  • Strong negotiation and deal structuring skills
  • Adept at building and delivering presentations
